Laikipia County Government inked a KES180M vehicle leasing deal with Rentco back in 2019 for road graders and tipper trucks aiming to ease the road construction process in the county.
Leasing of the machinery aided the county government on their mission to open up new transport corridors in areas that should be commercially explored.
Rentco’s role eased the burden of buying road construction equipment, enabling the Laikipia County Government not only improve it’s capacity to execute various projects as planned but also redirected money usually spent on purchasing equipment to serve other economic ventures.
The county economic advisor, Githuki Mwangi assured locals of efficient service delivery as Rentco further planned to ensure all graders and tipper trucks were serviced and maintained. This move would curb unnecessary performance delays caused by faulty equipment.
